Community Organizer & Event Lead — Fashion District Philadelphia Friends (FDPF) & Whitehall Dave and Buster (Whitehall DnB)
- Organize at least 4 meetups/hangouts for over 40 people per year, coordinating timing, setting up restaurant reservations, and ensuring as many people can participate as possible.
- Act as both groups' PR team — personally got Whitehall DnB featured on Lehigh Valley With Love Media and helped get FDPF into the Philadelphia Inquirer.
- Organize and officiate tournaments with over 100 attendees, ensuring events run on time with buffer built in for anything that goes wrong.
- Handle merchandise finances — running interest checks and confirmations to get accurate headcounts for orders.
- Served as personal assistant for Naoki Maeda (Dance Dance Revolution music producer) for 3 days during his concert at Red Note in Las Vegas — handled English/Japanese communication, arranged his schedule (work and leisure), managed the fan signing event, and ran errands as needed.
Beyond regular meetups, I also run my own original tournament series — see Event Hosting for a closer look.
Volunteer — Penn State Lehigh Valley, Community Music School & Woori Center
- Volunteered at various events across PSULV, CMS, and Woori Center — general event support, manning booths, helping people register to vote, and coffee talks with students about careers in tech.
- Currently collaborating with PSULV on a TEDx-style talk about chasing money (software engineering) and discovering my real passion later in life (piano) — exploring regret and the grass-is-greener feeling.
